Rain chances through Monday, then later next week.

Our upper-level low is spinning around the Four Corners this afternoon, working its way eastward across southern Colorado. We had a round of storms this morning in Pagosa Springs that dropped marble size hail on my backyard! Fortunately, that's about as large of hail we see up here at nearly 8000 feet.
The low will continue to move east, then NE, ushering in lots of Pacific moisture and a few disturbances over the next 24 hours. On Monday, a dying cool front will move southward, kicking up some potentially severe storms in the afternoon. I originally thought we would escape the chance for severe storms, but with the front moving south and some daytime heating, there will be a chance for severe weather. As you can see from the latest model runs, there is very little consensus in rain totals, except for east Texas.
Below are the latest model runs for rainfall from today through Monday. I'll do a post tomorrow on our odds for rain later next week.
