Another summer day before we finally get some relief from our much-advertised cool front that will move through tonight! Look for a cool breeze tomorrow with highs only in the 70's for south-central Texas and upper 70's to low 80's for south Texas. By Thursday morning, quite a few of you in the Hill Country could see lows in the 40's! Temperatures will rebound a bit over the weekend, but 90's for highs will hopefully be only limited to far south Texas next week.
Rain odds continue to look dismal as the upper-level low's forecast path takes it into the plains over the weekend, leaving us with only a tiny chance for a few scattered storms.
I've looked at three of the latest long-range model runs and they continue to look bullish for some rain starting at the end of the month through mid-November. Yes, I am aware that any long-range models should be taken with a grain of salt and a shot of Tiquila!
