Another chance for rain…

3-18-24 5:45pm. This update is brought to you by Dietz-McLean Optical. www.dmoptical.com

The cut-off low that has been wandering around the desert SW for the past four days, will finally make a move to the east on Wednesday into the Panhandle, giving us our next chance for rain. As of this post time, it looks like the best odds for rain will be from San Antonio and locations to the south and east. While everyone is happy to see rain, the western Texas Hill Country continues to need it the worst and continues to get left behind from these systems. FYI: There is a slight chance for severe storms on Wednesday night and Thursday.

A cool front will also move down as the low passes to our north, ushering in some cooler air and clearing us out through the weekend. Look for pleasant lows in the 50’s and highs in the 70’s!

Looking further down the road, rain chances return next week…details in my upcoming posts this week.
