Happy Labor Day!
Quite a few of you to the NW, west and SW of San Antonio have seen some great rain totals over the past 24hrs!
Once again, most of the activity is staying to the west of HWY 281, but that should start changing this afternoon as rich tropical moisture streams in from the low pressure sitting just to the SE of Corpus. This low will move inland over the next 24hrs, increasing our rain odds. While the biggest rains will stay to the west and NW of San Antonio and along the coast and coastal plains, I still think a large percentage of you who have not gotten much rain from this event, will eventually see over an inch of rain by Thursday.
Heads up for all of you picnic people this afternoon...wherever you are, (unless you are having your picnic indoors!) there will be an increase in storm activity later today and into the evening.
