We have our stationary front right along a Del Rio to San Antonio line this afternoon…now we just need some disturbances from the west to move through tonight, tomorrow and Saturday night. As of this post, the best odds for rain will come tomorrow afternoon and evening. The models are still very mixed on rainfall totals due to the convective nature of this system and how long the cold front remains stationary. I’m still feeling optimistic that the Hill Country will see 1/2 to 2 inches of rain from this system and it looks like more rain may fall to the south of San Antonio than originally forecast. I feel like the Euro model will end up being the most accurate, but time will tell. Not to be forgotten, is the cold front will finally move through on Sunday, dropping our highs into the 60’s and low 70’s and lows on Monday in the 50’s!

I have included the latest HRRR radar simulation to give you an idea of how the rain and storms may form tomorrow and where. As of right now, the odds for severe weather is fairly low…which should make everyone but storm chasers happy!
