No need to interrupt your weekend over this post! The SA-Austin NWS sums it up great with their afternoon weather discussion:

"An upper-level ridge will dominate our weather through the long
term period. Dry weather will continue. Models show almost no chance for rain with the highest POP in the long term being 2%. Along with the rain free forecast we can also expect a warming trend. This will be especially true during mid-week. Highs will reach the upper 80s to lower 90s by Wednesday. This is well above normal, but short of records. It will be more like mid-September than late October."

I'll continue to monitor the models, but for now, more of the same. ☹️
