Ditto weather continues! As of today, unless we get a tropical something to form in the Gulf (nothing in the forecast), the remaining days of August look hot and primarily dry, except along the coast. The long-range models still favor more activity the last few days of the month and into September, but since September is one of our wetter months of the year, that would be expected. For those of you wishing for a decent front, I'm not finding anything but above normal temperatures through mid-September. Hopefully that will change, but I have seen years in the past where we don't get a decent front until late September or even October!
If you have the opportunity to escape to the mountains, we had a low of 44 degrees and a high of 75 degrees where I live in Pagosa Springs, CO today. Please don’t hate me!
