Two more chances for rain…

Continued chance for scattered storms during the day, but the best odds for rain will come tonight and again on Saturday night, as a couple of disturbances move through from the NW. The latest model runs keep the higher rain totals in the north and northeast counties of south-central Texas, but as we have seen, the models are having a very difficult time with this pattern.

The one thing that is clear, is that if storms develop, they have a chance for dropping some heavy rain, hail and high winds, as we have seen earlier this week. Make sure you have your emergency apps working or are tuned to your local NOAA radio.

Starting Sunday, our rain chances go poof and temperatures will be on the rise for at least five days.
