I don’t like the eclipse models!

As of this post time, the models are certainly not making me feel optimistic that we will be able to see the eclipse on the 8th! Fortunately, we are still 10 days out and there is time for things to change. I will admit that when first I learned that there would be a total eclipse happening in the month of April 2024, I was very worried that there would be too many clouds…April and May in south-central Texas have a bad history of being cloudy!

Below are the latest model runs…some are on the morning of April 8th, because that is as far out as the models reach. As we get closer, there will be more and more models coming on board. Keep your fingers crossed that the clouds evaporate in future model runs!
