New models but not much change…

Yesterday it was the Euro that was giving us some hope…today it’s the Canadian model! On a positive note, none of the models are forecasting rain on eclipse day, so that would mean that the clouds that are showing up on the models are either morning stratus clouds, which could burn off, or cirrus. If they end up being a thin cirrus layer, the eclipse will only be slightly obscured. Even the NWS is not sure at this time. Below are the latest model runs and the latest tabular forecast for Monday at 1pm.
Rain odds for the days following the eclipse are looking good! I’ll have an update on that tomorrow.
