Drought update…

Not much change in week to week, but we are moving a bit backward over the past month, with some increasing areas of abnormally dry to moderate drought. We have made positive strides in our drought conditions since the beginning of the year and since last October. Unfortunately, our lake levels continue to be very low, and we certainly need some 5 inch plus rainfalls to make a positive dent in our watersheds. May is not only one of our wettest months, but a month that has produced some major floods over the years.
