While the primary threat for flooding rains remains in south Texas over the next 24hrs, as the trough to our west slowly moves east this afternoon and evening, another round of scattered showers and storms will be developing over south-central Texas. Best odds for rain will be east of HWY 281 and south of HWY 90 and I-10E, but even the western counties should see 1/4-1/2 an inch of additional rainfall through Friday. As for the coastal plains, you guys are currently getting more rain today and that will continue through Friday. Some of you in south Texas have already seen rainfall totals over 6 inches!
